George Watson was appointed full-time Head of Youth Development in 2006. He had previously been a coach with the 14s squad.

George had previously coached with St. Mirren and had considerable experience in organising and developing youth footballers.

In his short time at the helm, George has developed both on the pitch and off the pitch resources and facilities. Queen's Park now have four coaches with each squad, extensive physiotherapy and sports science provision. We also have a state of the art new generation artificial pitch at Lesser Hampden which is used for both training and match day purposes.

George has also been responsible for the tremendous development of our 'Community programme' which provides coaching in football for local youngsters and schools.
