Queen's made a few changes to their starting line up after their hard fought 1-1 draw away to Alloa last week, with L. Whelan replacing Gebbie, Coyle in for the suspended McGeever, Hepburn replacing to to his recent call up to the Scotland 17s squad and Robertson returning after his recent injury.
We started the game well playing at a high tempo with good posession along with excellent movement all over the pitch.
We opened he scoring after 21mins after good play down the left creating a chance for Ronald who dispatched the ball with ease passed the keeper to put us one up.
We continued to dominate our opponents and finished the half with goals from McVey 43mins & Robertson 45mins to make it a well deserverd 3 nil lead at half time.
Half time team talk was to keep going with high tempo, sharp passing and continue the good movement from our front three.
We introduced Kennedy at half time after his long lay off and with instant effect he showed great composure to chip the keeper from 20yds to put us four up after 47mins.
With Kennedy now running the show we added further goals through R.Whelan, Hepburn and Robertson getting his second of the game, allowing us to run out convincing winner seven nil.
Coaches comments "A pleasing team performance with well manufactured goals, it was also great to have Kennedy back after his recent long term injury".
